Friendz dears......Puttaparthivaru, was very fond of Vijayanagara days as a literary person and also a historian. He used to collect more and more information about this dynastry and poets too. My second sister Smt. Tarulatha and family was living at 'KAAMALAPUR' near Hampi. When ever maa ayyagaru used to visit that place, (seldom he used to ) he was spending most of his time in the ruins of vijayanagara empire near Kamalapur (Hospet Taluq, Bellary District). He was bursting into tears even, recollecting those golden days. He used to roam in the ruins of the market streets of Vijayanagara Hampi, Tulabharam, Dassehra dibba, Veyi Sthambhala Gudi and Pampa sarovaram and recite many more poems of peddana, Krishndeva Raya and so on almost daily. He used to spend hours together near Lotus Mahal and Hazara Ramaswamy Devalayam too. Sasuva Ganapathi, Ugra Narasimha Murthy and saptha swara mandapam were his favourite places too. I am still having some important note books in maa ayyagaru's handwriting about vijayanagara Empire.

He wrote novels too like 'ABHAYAPRADANAM' 'HARIDAASI' and 'PRATEEKARAM'. In Abhayapradanam, he deals with a plot in the reignof Rghunadha Nayaka. Thi novel is about the efforts of Raghunadha Nayaka to get free one of the young couples of his reign from the capture of Salaga- who was a wild worshiper of KALI matha and who used to give BALI of young pregnant woman on one of the auspecious days advised by his pandits.
