on 10th March maa ayyagaru's STATUE was inaugurated in PENUGONDA maa ayyagaru's birth place under the able guidance of Sr.Asavadi Prakasa Raogaru. Sriman Roddam Prabhakara Rao presided over the function and maa ayyagaru's contribution to Telugu Literature was applauded by the speakers. I could not attended the function as u know 'cause of hectic work in publication work of maa ayyagaru. These r the related photos. (courtesy- Rajan- a close relative of mine from Penugonda).......

Friendz dears.....Yesterday and today complete were very important for me in this process of maa ayyagaru's PADYA GADYA SAHITYA sarvaswams and as a bonus 'ASTAKSHARI KRUTHULU' also. I was in press yesterday in doing the final corrections for Padya sahitya sarvasvam. Today my activity in A.P.Manuscripts library was setting the notations of the 20 keerthanams of maa ayyagaru that were re-written by Sriman Komandurivaru. The book releasing function of "Astakshari kruthulu" is on 21st of this month. The staff in the A.P.O.M.L. is also working hectically for the release of the book. Friendz....Maa ayyagaru's Sathajayanthi (by the grace of Guru Datta (Gandgapur) is coming to end with a great GIFT of his complete works for his lovers. I thank whole heartedly all the higher ups and officials that gave support and took initiative in this MEGA EVENT' . Though there were some disturbances and delays due to the present political situation in the state, the works that were planned are going to complete within the stipulated time. Jai Guru Datta!

Friendz dears...Pl. look into these details....This is the first page of the 2nd edition of 'SHAJEE' a khanda kavya of maa ayyagaru published in 1937 in Desabandhu press Tadipatri. This has an intro of Sri K.Sreenivasa, Siromani (probably this might be the degree they have acquired from the then Oriental college affiliated to Madras University. ..(courtesy- Sri Ramavajjhala Sreesailam)

The Vice chancellor of Kuppam Dravidian University Acharya Kankanala Rattaiahgaru announced that there is a proposal to start "Puttaparthi Peetham' in their university during the National Seminar on maa ayyagaru from 3rd March to 5th March....I thank him from core of my heart and also all the staff of Dravidian university for organising this seminar and also their motivation to start a Literary PEETHAM on maa ayyagaru's works and research on them.

Friendz..These r some awesome moments I spent at Kuppam Dravidian university in connection with a 3 day seminar in connection with maa ayyagaru's centenery celebrations. As I told earlier, this seminar was a complete 'ROUND UP' of maa ayyagaru's Literary contribution. I am tankful to the V.C. Acharya Kankanala Rattaiahgaru for permitting to do this 3day  seminar.
I am also thankful to Acharya Budati, Chinna Reddaiah and other TELUGU DEPT. prof. for organizing this a build up a 'VAARADHI' between the students and Puttaparthi like this. 
I was too immensely immersed  in the Seminars headed by Professors, papers presented by Lecturers and research scholars.
I am thankful to Acharya Sreenivasulu Prof SKD UNi. Ananthapur, for his promise of planning a 2day seminar at Ananthapur in a very

Friendz dears.......I was very very busy yesterday in press preparing the 'Page set up' and font fixing of maa ayyagarus 'PADYA GADYA SARVASWAMS' being published under the most able administration and guidence of Dr Rallabandi Kavitha Prasadgaru - Director Cultural affairs.  Really it is a 'Dream come true' for me that maa ayyagaru's complete works are being released by the Cultural Affairs Dept. Dr.Rallabandigaru  (actually he is  'Rathanalabandi') taking extreme interest in this work. He always says that'This will be 'THE GREAT contribution to the literary field'. Yes yes yes.....This all is happening because Dr. Rallabandigaru is a great admirer of Puttaparthi's works, wisdom and also  personality 'cause he himself is a world known Poet, Avadhani and very innovative in administration and also SARASWATHI SAMARCHANA. He recently choosen the world common dias 'FACEBOOK' for his 'LAKSHA PADYARCHANA'. He asked the world wide TELUGU PADYAM LOVERS to give the 'SAMASYAS' (Puranalu) and he gives the PADYA SAMADHANALU in FC itself. This will be very novel way of using the 'Electronic and NET EXCELLENCES' for a noble cause of 'Meeting all WORLD TELUGISM'; So pl..friendz, rush  fast to give ur 'SAMASYALU" for 'Kavitha Prasadgaru's excellent poetic completions.He is a 'SAMPURNA TELUGU MANASWI'. I wish him 'ALL THE BEST' and 'GREAT SUCCESS'in  this great 'PADYA YAGNA'.I am thankful to him from my core of heart for his cooperation in maa ayyagaru's complete works. There r no words to explain. March month has already entered. Countdown started already.  28th is maa ayyagaru's birthday.Padya sarvasvam is getting ready for release. Gadya bhagam also taking it's final shape. Dates r to be fixed.  Friendz.. Pl. wish for the grand tribute to Puttaparthi (A Writer of Par excellence) maa ayyagaru's centenery celebrations.

Friendz......Maa ayyagaru's connoisseurs  always do refer to his ;SIVATANDAVAM' as his one of his most MERITORIOUS work. This is the clipping on the prog. I arranged in 2012 during the occassion of SIVARATRI. I am having the VIDEO recordings of Dr.T.K.V. Raghavangaru giving an extensive illustrations on this 'Tiny' but  'Most SHINY' book of maa ayyagaru. The videos wiil be available shortly on this blog.
3day seminar on maa ayyagaru's literaturary contribution is going to commence from 3rd March in the AUGUST presence of the  Vice chancellors of DRAVIDA VISWAVIDYALAYAM and YOGIVEMANA VISWAVIDYALAYAM . Acarya D.Chandrasekhara Reddy will be delivering the "keynote address' and famous writer sri Vadrevu China veerabhadrudu and me r the special invitees. My lil.sis. Puttaparthi Anuradha also presents a paper on 'Puttaparthi in internet' in one of the days.

As the work of maa ayyagaru's 'ASTAKSHARI KRUTHULU' editing is going on, I came to know many more krithis on 'SIVA'  also.

Some of the lyrics and ragas he composed them are as follows.

So friendz....Though maa ayyagaru's ankitha mudra is 'ASTAKSHARI' in these krithis he addresses 'Siva' to convince VASUDEVA to shower kindness on his bhaktha (maa ayyagaru) to save him from these trama of 'JEEVANA CHAKRA' 'cause 
  "SIVAYA VISHNU rupaya...Siva rupaya VISHNAVE"
Is n't it?...Once again happy 'Sivaratri' and happy "Jagarana' in the  shrines of SIVA.

Friendz dears......I am taken into the moods of   'Akhilandeswari' in raga  'DWIJAVANTHI' sung by 'AMMA' M.S.garu while my sis. Anuradha enqired about the Arohana and Avarohana of the raga ( Arohanam...     sa ri gama pa ma da pa ni da ni sa.

 to mention about the progress of editing work of maa ayyagaru's  astakshari kruthulu in her Telugu blog...
Maa ayyagaru also wrote some krithis in this 'SOULFUL' raga. 'Naduvavakayya, naarayana....
pudamipai nadugidi pokkuno yemo'....He cautions 'Astaksharinadha' not to walk on the earth with bare foot as to they are more tender than the flowers of  'Kalpavriksha'...Further he says.....No..No..No...I can't reveal the complete meaning of the song...'cause the original krithi  will be more sweet than the translation. u know!!!!!! original krithi will be available very soon. The Oriental manuscripts Library Authorities have fixed the date of relesing of maa ayyagaru's 'ASTAKSHARI KRUTHULU' on 211st March.
So friendz....'WAITING makes the wishes more sweet when they come true'...Is in't it? Pleeeaaassseeeeeee..Be prepared....

Padutha Theeyaga - 24th February 2014

Friendz dears......This year  is "The grand occassion" of 2 celebrations  in my life. The very first one  being maa ayyagaru's 'SATHAJAYANTHI' as "Satha Vasanthala Puttaparthi" (Publication of maa ayyagaru's complete works and his ASTAKSHARI kruthulu also) . The 2nd one is my dearest daughter chi.sow. Vamsipriya's  grand sauccess in the ETV prestigious reality show 'Padutha teeyaga' the very first series in USA.  She has given her 'TRIBUTE' to her 'Grandfather' from the dais of 'Padutha teeyaga' while Shriyutha Jonnavitthula Ramalinga sastry and the great SPB paid tributes to him in one of the above episodes. This is the 1st part of MEGA FINALS of 'Americalo Ragasagarika'. 2nd will be telecast on next Monday.... Friendz...Pl. follow the postings and support my feelings...

Dear Friendz..This is the 'TELUGU VELUGU' edition of 23rd Feb. 2014 (ETV2) apparaising maa ayyagaru 'Puttaparthivaru'. friendz,, I took it easy for mentioning  my name  wrongly as 'Puttaparthi Anuradha' and my sister's name as 'Puttaparthi Nagapadmini'. It's ok! Pl. spare ur time to view and feel the 'SARASWATHIPUTRATVAM' of maa ayyagaru......I thank very much ETV officials Sarvasri Harikrishna, Ramesh and Shankaranarayana garu.

Friendz dears.....Dravidian University Kuppam has planned a 3day National Seminar on maa ayyagaru-Puttaparthivaru. These r the details. This is the way I actually drempt for....They have planned 'PATRA SAMARPANA' on different works of maa ayyagaru, his influence on Literature as Poet, critic,Vaggeyakara, Speaker, and Translator. All the three days (2nd, 3rd and 4th of March) it will be feast for 'Puttaparthi's Fans' to have a complete 'VAGMAYALOKANAM' of the real 'SARASWATHI PUTRA'. Some how, I am not able to post the  actual 'Invitation card ' of the university due to some technical problems.

Another good news connected to maa ayyagaru's centenary is in today's 'TELUGU VELUGU' programme of ETV (23rd Feb from 11.30 AM to 12 Noon) a short story is to be telecast. Pl. spare ur valuable time to watch and react.

Friendz dears, This is the English Translation of maa ayyagaru's SIVATANDAVAM by Ilapavuluri Panduranga Raogaru published in 'INDIAN POETRY TODAY' in 1981 'Indian council for Cultural relations'.

                          " SIVATANDAVAM"

        What a blissful bloom
         has blessed the entire earth
        Lord Shiva has come to stage
        his eternal dance, his graceful sport
        so tender, yet so wild.

        See the clouds which have gathered in a moment
        to witness the movements of the limbs of the Lord
        Like waves and dreams
        like chains of coral bunches
        like celestial nymphs have gathered
        the thick dark and daring clouds.

        Look at the birds making the primal sounds,
        to suit the tinkling sounds of the divine ankles
        They match the melodies of the mountain-maid
        the consort of Lord Shiva..

        Even the bowers and twigs
        swing in joy, nod their heads
        and bunches after bunches shed the flowers.
        Each flower eager to find
        a place in the decoration of the divine couple
        that is why that smile, that is why tat grace.

        What a blissful bloom
        has blessed the entire earth
        Lored Shiva has come
        to stage his dance
        so tender, yet so wild.

        The slender tender limbs of the couple
        reset the touch of even the softest flower
        Bharathi and Brahma look after
        the make-up of the divine couple
        Parvathi and Parameshwara.

        There is breeze everywhere
        to greet the Lord, to serve him with sounds
        Takajham Takajham Taka Dirikita Tom
        When the Lord of the Universe
        chooses to dance to please the breeze
        the bridal bees whisper with grace.

        Look at these brooks running in haste
        to attend the dance without a minute's waste
        Look at the twilight like an excited house wife
        setting her silken saree right
        adjusting her waist correcting her sight
        Who told her all about this?
        Who else except the mother earth!

        The Lord and His Consort
        are set to dance
        The Sun has stopped
        to  wait and see-
        perhaps to report  all about this
        to the people in the west.

        Look at the deers
        with eyes full of tears th wash the feet of divine couple.

        The tender sprouting leaves
        whisper among themselves
        wanting to say something
        but not finding words to suit their feelings.

        Oh! It is beyond all words, all sounds and
        all imagination.
        The Lord has come down
        to stage his dance
        so tender, yet so wild
        to bless the blissful earth.

Dear Friendz.....These days, the DTP corrections of maa ayyagaru's ASTAKSHARI KRUTHULU is going on very regularly. Time is running like 'SAND FROM HANDS'. That's how me and Sriman Komanduri r doing it very fast. Meanwhile  I am being introduced to very unique usages like 'Tenela sarassu' (Honey lake in Kedaragoula raga kruthi) 'Neerasa kavyamu' (Weak kaavya in  Kharaharapriya kruthi)'Sranthamayye bhasha' (tired language in  Kaanada raga kruthi) 'Vallavivamsa sobhaakara' (one who is enriching the beauty of Yaadava kula in

Sankarabharana raga kruthi).  Seshadrigaru is noting down the best thoughts and unique usages and simultaneously preparing his artical on maa ayyagaru. This is the present update about the voluminous work....

Dear Friendz.....I think u remember the exciting news I gave to u on 2nd Dec. 2013. Printing of 'Maa ayyagaru's  devotional lyrics ( with Astakshari mudra) is is progress. Almost every day I am discussing with Sriman Komanduri Seshadrigaru keeping ready the DTP and the original text (hand written) with me. Prior to talking to him. I correct the DTP matching with the vratha prathi (written version)

marking all the difficult words to note the meaning based on SRI SABDA RATNAKARAMU (Telugu dictionary) I also keep ready the 'Telugu paryaya pada Nighantuvu' for reference also if any. Sriman Komandurigaru who is at present at Washington (USA) gives me time either in the early morning or in the evening. We both check the AROHANA AVAROHANAS of the RAGAS 'maa ayyagaru' mentioned for the lyrics. Mostly Seshadrigaru and me also get  surprised to note the deepest knowledge 'Maa ayyagaru' is having even  in KARNATAK MUSIC on par with his eloquence in Literature. I am puzzled to identify completely a different 'PUTTAPARTHIvaru' in these lyrics. apart from most popular ragas like Bilahari, Aarabhi, Sankarabharanam, Mohana, Devagandhari, Kaanada, Kedaara, Kaambhoji Bhairavi etc. he wrote lyrics in  rare ragas like Gourigandhari, Sreemani, Tapollasi, Natabharana, Desya Aandhali, Dhairya mukhi, Rasaavali Maanavathi and so on. I believe I am more fortunate that I am introduced to the VIVID world of maa ayyagaru's LYRICAL WORLD now. Am experiencing a completely different ayyagaru now. I am again blessed to find an an excellent book "Ragapravaham' an Index to carnatak Ragas, compiled by Dr.M.N.Dandhapani and D.Pattammal which is a SANGEETHA KALPAVRIKHAM for all the carnatak music WORLD. Very beautiful PADABANDHALU like 'PALUKU PUVULU' (Flowers of words) 'PANNETI CHUPULU' (scented looks) 'CHALIDI VENNELA' (Tasty (like chalidi) moon light) and so on. Most of his lyrics show his ardent AARADHANA towards PANDHARINATHA and also with special references to Tukaram, Janaabai, Naamdev, Jnanadev and other Marathi Saints. 
                 I am also excited to share the news that Maa ayyagaru's PADYA VAGMAYA SARVASAVAM is getting ready for release soon.
                 With all maa ayyagaru's  blessings, I share this information with u all my dears!!!!!!
